Upscale image
Real-ESRGAN, an open-source super-resolution model, rebuilds detail and edges while it enlarges, so small or soft photos come out crisp instead of blurry. Choose 1× to clean up and sharpen at the same size, or 2× to 4× to enlarge. The model (about 5 MB) runs in your browser; large images take a minute or two because all the work happens on your device. The classic method is instant and suits graphics and screenshots.

Frequently asked questions
Is this AI upscaling?
Yes, by default. The AI method uses Real-ESRGAN, an open-source super-resolution model that runs on your device (on the graphics card where the browser supports WebGPU). The Classic method is plain resampling with light sharpening: instant and faithful to the original pixels, which suits graphics and screenshots.
How much can I enlarge?
From 1× (AI clean-up at the same size) up to 4×. The AI method gives the clearest gain on small and medium photos; Classic handles very large images and graphics best.
Which format should I export?
PNG keeps every pixel; JPG or WebP produce smaller files if you plan to share the result online.
