Questions about plans
Is ShrinkLab really free?
Yes. Every tool works without an account, without a watermark and without uploading your files. Pro is for people who need bigger batches, larger files, offline use and no ads.
How does Pro work offline?
After you pay, your device stores a signed Pro license and checks it locally. A monthly or yearly plan keeps working offline for up to 30 days at a time, a lifetime plan for a year. Going online at any point extends it.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Open Pro, choose Manage billing and cancel in a few clicks. Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for, or the end of your free trial, and you are not charged again.
What do you learn about me when I sign in?
Only your email address and which plan you have. Your images are never uploaded: every tool runs in your browser, with or without Pro.
Can I use Pro on more than one device?
Yes. Sign in with the same Google, Apple, Microsoft or Facebook account, or the same email address, on each device and Pro switches on there too.
How do I pay?
Payments go through Stripe’s secure checkout, which accepts major cards and, where available, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link and PayPal. ShrinkLab never sees your card details.
Why do you ask for a card for the free trial?
So everyone gets the trial once, and Pro carries on without a gap if you like it. Nothing is charged when you start. We email you 7 days before the trial ends, and if you cancel before then, under Manage billing, you pay nothing.
How does the Day Pass work?
Pay $1.99 once and Pro is on for the next 24 hours on every device you sign in on. There is no subscription to cancel, and another pass adds 24 more hours. Go Lifetime within 7 days and the $1.99 comes off.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Your plan simply carries on: the first payment of $3.99 a month or $29 a year is taken when the trial ends. Cancel before then and nothing is charged. Either way, Pro stays on until the last day of the trial.
Can I switch from Monthly to Yearly?
Yes, at any time, even during the trial. Open Pro and choose Switch to Yearly. It saves $18.88 a year, and Stripe credits whatever is left of your current month.
