How small can I make an image?
Any size above about 1 KB. Type the limit, and the compressor searches JPEG or WebP quality first, then reduces dimensions only when quality alone cannot reach it. The result lands at or just below your target.
Will my photo lose quality?
Some detail is traded for size, but the search keeps the highest quality that still fits. Use the before/after slider to check, and pick a larger target if you need more detail.
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. Compression runs inside your browser with Web Workers, so nothing is uploaded. With Pro, the installed app also works with no internet connection at all.
