Image to SVG

Turn a logo, icon, signature or simple illustration into a vector SVG that stays sharp at any size, for cutting machines, laser engravers, print and the web. Choose Logo for flat colours, Photo for more shades, or Black and white for line art and signatures, then set the number of colours and the level of detail. Tracing runs on your device. Photos turn into a stylised, poster-like result rather than an exact copy.

How it works

  1. Add images by dropping, choosing or pasting them.
  2. Adjust the options — everything previews on your device.
  3. Run, compare before and after, then download or share.

Frequently asked questions

Which images convert best to SVG?

Logos, icons, signatures, clip art and drawings with clear edges and few colours. Remove the background first for the cleanest shapes.

Can I use the SVG with Cricut, Silhouette or a laser cutter?

Yes. Choose Black and white for single-colour cuts, or Logo with a few colours for layered designs; each colour becomes its own set of paths.

Why does my photo look like a poster?

Vectors describe shapes, not individual pixels, so photos are simplified into areas of flat colour. Raise Colours and Detail for a closer match, at the cost of a larger file.
