Does converting JFIF to PDF reduce quality?
Converting into a lossless format keeps every pixel. Converting into a lossy one re-encodes at the quality you set; 92 percent is visually identical for photos and still far smaller than the original.
Why would I want PDF instead of JFIF?
Compatibility and size. PDF opens where JFIF may not, and modern formats can be much smaller for the same look. The compare slider shows both side by side.
Is transparency kept?
Yes when PDF supports it (PNG, WebP, AVIF, ICO). JPG and BMP do not, so transparent areas are filled with the background colour you pick.
Can I convert many JFIF files at once?
